@countchocula Actually Drew was the star of poltergeist, she was just high on heroin so often, they had to use Heather O'Rourke as a body double.

I feel instead of this remake, they need to make the original Sam Neil remake Omen III: The Final Conflict/ though the kiwi was perfect in that role, since he has he innocent look, where are al the actors gone now ffs. gregory peck in the first movie, lee grant in the 2nd Sam neil in the 3rd i mean come on. no wonder the movies were any good.

Tried to give this 2022 version another chance, but it's just nowhere near as good as the 1984 original, and "nostalgia" has got nothing to do with it. The 1984 original isn't even a movie I'd enjoy watching all over again, far from it. But, compared to this 2022 rendition blunder, 1984 original's got a lot more heart, better atmosphere, characters and just much more watchable overall.

Drew Barrymore wasn't in Poltergeist.

Drastically fails in comparison to the original. Hell, this doesn't even hold a candle's flame to it.
