Just watched it, and I was disturbed by many of the images I saw. There was one scene where the main character (Amy) runs into the bathroom with her dad's phone, pulls down her shorts and underwear, takes a picture of herself, then publishes it (although they did not show the image, thank God). There are other scenes where the camera focuses on the waist area of the girls, especially when they're wearing hot pants or some kind of tight-fitting or revealing costume. While Amy finally realizes what she's doing at the end of the story, which makes her begin to cry and she leaves the stage where she and her friends are competing in a dance contest, there are far too many suggestive images depicted in the movie leading up to her revelation that what she's doing is wrong. There are too many people in this world who want to see everything (and more) leading up to Amy's realization of her mistakes and would simply not care about her epiphany, and I'm concerned that people like this would act on what they see in the first 90 percent of the movie. I get that all young girls, at some point, begin to discover their femininity and do things that could lead them to trouble or harm, but this movie depicts too many images for viewers who have an ulterior motive. It's not a good movie to teach young girls to not explore their potential in a way that will lead to their exploitation, nor is it a good movie to teach predators, or even potential predators, that what they see in young girls is a deviant desire.
